Conneaut Lake Real Estate
Put a little “LAKE” in your life
Pennsylvania’s largest natural lake is Conneaut Lake,
located in Crawford County.
The lake is approximately three miles long and one mile wide
I-79, 10 minutes
Hermitage and Erie, 50 minutes
Pittsburgh and Cleveland, one and one half to two hours
Homes and cottages:
The lake area is comprised of year round homes, condominiums, seasonal cottages, and seasonal campgrounds. Many of the older cottages have been converted to year round living, and many folks now make this area their primary residence.
Summer on the lake:
There is no horsepower limit on the lake. The summer activities include boating, skiing and wakeboarding, riding personal watercraft, fishing, swimming, kayaking, and sailing. Three marinas and two public boat launches service boating needs and lake access throughout the season. The “Party Boat” offers public tours and private parties.
Winter on the lake:
When the lake freezes the ice fishermen come out with their tents to spend the day. During the holiday season lighted Christmas trees will be found on many docks around the lake. This holiday custom is growing each year, and has become a popular tourist attraction. The “Party Boat” offers evening tours to view the trees.
Offerings around the lake area:
You will find golf courses, dining, and shopping. Conneaut Lake Park offers rides, a water park, the Hotel Conneaut, a public beach, and picnic shelters for family gatherings.
We have something for every preference. Visit our local wineries for tours and wine tasting. For music lovers we have jazz festivals and weekend concerts in Ice House Park. The October Pumpkin Fest has become a major tourist attraction for 3 days per year and is held the second full weekend in October. In addition, we have an antique wooden boat show in June, art fairs, a kayak race, sailboat races, and a Special Olympics for water sports.
Year round beauty:
The water fowl views change with the seasons, but continues for the four seasons. Every day is a different scene.
Escape from the fast pace of the city and come here to relax and enjoy a slower pace
and a friendly community.
